By accessing or using DoOrDonate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service.
When you commit to a goal (spanning 1 to 7 days), you pledge a specific monetary amount and authorize DoOrDonate to save your payment method via Stripe (SetupIntent). No money is charged upfront. You explicitly authorize DoOrDonate to automatically process an off-session charge to your saved card if you report that you failed your goal ("I Failed"), or you fail to report your outcome within the 24-hour grace period following your goal's deadline.
"Failure to report" is strictly defined as failing the goal. If you do not click "I Succeeded" before the end of the 24-hour grace period, the system will automatically process the charge.
All collected pledges are distributed as follows: 80% of the funds are allocated and donated to a chosen charity (batched and distributed monthly). The remaining 20% is retained by DoOrDonate to cover Stripe processing fees and platform operational costs.
Payments made by you to DoOrDonate are not tax-deductible for you. All charitable donations are executed solely by DoOrDonate as a platform entity.
